This project was developed for a branding and packaging assignment, where I was tasked with creating a fictional wine brand from the ground up. I wanted to explore how modern identity and internet culture intersect with consumer habits—specifically through the lens of aesthetic labels like “cottagecore,” “normcore,” and everything in between.
The result is Core: a wine brand that leans into self-expression and aesthetic identity. Inspired by the TikTok trend of naming personal styles with the “-core” suffix, Core imagines wine as more than just a beverage—it’s a reflection of your vibe. Each design decision, from flavor naming to visual tone, centers around the idea of drinking something that feels like you.
This project allowed me to blend cultural commentary with playful branding, crafting a product that celebrates individuality in a world obsessed with categorization.
