This project was created for a class assignment focused on event branding. I developed SeKCond Life, a fictional upcycling festival centered around sustainability, creativity, and community. The goal was to avoid the overly polished aesthetic that often dominates eco-conscious branding and instead lean into something grittier and more expressive.
The visual direction pulls heavily from 90s zine culture—think photocopied flyers, hand-scrawled tags, and bold, imperfect type. The name itself is a nod to both secondhand goods and the energy of starting over, reframed with attitude.
This festival is all about giving materials—and ideas—a new life, with branding that feels raw, rebellious, and totally unfiltered.
